Training for 5k (101)
Build your endurance, go faster, get more fit, and improve your 5k time in the process!
There are many benefits to sustained output on a indoor rowing machine but most importantly its the ability to be able to keep your focus on the goal and maintain exercise for between 17-25 minutes.
In this program you'll focus specifically on the 5k distance. This is a great program for you if you need to:
- Lose weight
- Improve lung or heart capacity
- Reduce impact on your joints
- Get a faster 5k
A personal favourite of many of our rowers, this plan is one to commit to and keep that end result as your motivation throughout.
Your Instructor
Qualifying as a PT in 2003 I was immediately bitten by the fitness bug and immersed myself deep in to the fitness industry as both a career and way of helping others become the best possible versions of themselves as possible.
From 2009 I have lectured both personal training and many of the industry’s leading CPD (Career and Professional Development) courses, for Premier Global NASM and have been instrumental in delivering a wide syllabus of knowledge to countless numbers of students looking to start a career in the fitness industry.
My passion has always been rowing both competitively and that of a coach. My aim is to deliver the highest level of expertise to my clients in both rowing and sports conditioning sessions. Whether it be face to face or online, I pride myself for the quality of work I commit to each client and value the feedback each client brings as a way of better developing my practice in this ever growing field.
It’s a rare day I won’t actively pursue knowledge that will progress and develop me as a trainer and coach.
